Brasov is known historically as an important economic and cultural center of Romania. Its development will be gradually ampler, investors will become more and more aware of the great perspectives in Brasov, both in terms of geographic position and the qualified workforce. Regarding the areas to be invested in in Brasov, infrastructure is an important coordinate, building an airport and the motorway will cause the growth of strong industrial areas, the development of tourism, and commerce.

Financing:

Funding no longer seems to be a problem for the Romanian state, which presently has access to major external financing sources, at reduced costs. Expenses for the construction of highways, albeit high, will be covered by the state budget from loans obtained from European financial institutions and the European Community budget. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is one of the major investors in Romania, with EUR 3.1 billion allocated for over 100 projects. Projects are already being prepared for 2007 that will benefit from European financing programs. Similarly, the Ministry of Transports has contracted external loans of over EUR 2 billion for infrastructure for the coming two years from the European Investment Bank (EIB).

General:

Brasov offers one of the highest potential returns on real estate property, through the Off-Plan investment. As its location is near the ski resorts of Romania, with substantial investment in infrastructure, Brasov is one of the best investment opportunities in Romania.

Most investors come to Romania and think 'capitol city.' That makes sense and is a smart move...but not the only one. The list usually goes something like this "Bucharest, Brasov, Constanta and maybe Timisoara." Each of these markets are compelling for different and similar reasons. However, we fond of Robert Frost's words - I went down the road less traveled, and that has made all the difference. Following the crowd has it's advantages. You'll make money and good money in the cities mentioned above if you invest wisely. These markets however are saturated. I've lived in Romania for a long time. I was telling people to invest in the above cities way back when people looked at me like I was crazy. So now, when I tell investors to broaden there horizons past the classic Romanian cities, they look at me with the same expressions of shock and amazement - .

For your money, the biggest opportunity is outside of these regions. Brasov showed 212% growth last year. It's growth again this year will be impressive and likely next year as well but we want somewhere where we can
get in relatively cheap and still get the first 212% price jump. We want to maximize your investment money and get in on all the prices jumps possible, not just the ones that remain.
